TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Balancers app, Balancers events, and any related services operated by Life Balancer LTD.

By creating an account, attending an event, or using any Balancers service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Life Balancer LTD reserves the right to amend these Terms at its discretion. Updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication within the app or on our website.

1. Nature of the Service

Balancers is a community-based social platform facilitating in-person events and online interaction. Participation in events and community spaces is a privilege, not a right, and is conditional upon compliance with these Terms and the Code of Conduct.

Due to the real-world nature of our services, Life Balancer LTD prioritises safeguarding, safety, and community wellbeing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Balancers or attend any Balancers event.

3. Code of Conduct (Incorporation)

All users, attendees, volunteers, ambassadors, organisers, contractors, and partners must comply with the Life Balancer LTD Code of Conduct, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct constitutes a breach of these Terms.

4. Safeguarding and Discretion

Life Balancer LTD operates a safeguarding-led approach.

We reserve the right to take action based on:

• Complaints or concerns raised by attendees, volunteers, ambassadors, venue staff, or organisers

• Observed behaviour, patterns of behaviour, or risk assessments

• Preventive safeguarding considerations

Action may be taken without the need to establish criminal wrongdoing and without reliance on formal evidentiary standards.

5. Confidentiality of Reports

Safeguarding reports, complaints, witness statements, and internal deliberations are handled confidentially.

Life Balancer LTD is not obliged to:

• Disclose complainant or witness identities

• Share internal notes or assessments

• Provide detailed evidence where disclosure would compromise privacy, safety, or safeguarding obligations

This applies subject to applicable data protection law.

6. Appeals and Reviews

Any appeal or review process is entirely discretionary.

There is no automatic right to appeal, no entitlement to a hearing, and no obligation to reopen or reconsider decisions once made.

7. Suspension and Termination

Life Balancer LTD may suspend or terminate access to the app, events, or services with or without prior warning where:

• These Terms or the Code of Conduct are breached

• Behaviour raises safeguarding or safety concerns

• Continued participation is incompatible with community wellbeing

Termination applies across all platforms operated by Life Balancer LTD and does not give rise to any right of compensation, reinstatement, or continued access.

8. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided on an “as is” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Life Balancer LTD excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of reputation, enjoyment, or opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Venues

Life Balancer LTD does not control third-party platforms or venues, including CCTV systems, and is not responsible for their data retention or disclosure practices.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
