CODE OF CONDUCT

Section 1: Purpose and Application

Balancers events exist to provide inclusive, welcoming, and safe social spaces where people can connect, participate, and feel comfortable being themselves.

This Code of Conduct defines behavioural standards, boundaries, and consequences, and provides a safeguarding-led framework for responding to concerns.

Impact matters more than intent. Behaviour that causes discomfort, fear, or distress may be addressed even if unintended.

This Code applies to:

  • All Balancers events, ticketed or free

  • All Balancers-managed online spaces, including the app

  • Behaviour that impacts the safety or wellbeing of the Balancers community
