Community partner

In partnership with Speaker Box

We're teaming up once again with Speaker Box Street Party.

Speaker Box is an inclusive dance community that brings people together through music and movement. There is no right way to dance with them. Since 2017 they have been turning streets and parties into open dance floors, with simple moves, real rhythm, and a welcome for every body.

What to expect

Conversation Spark

A simple activity so meeting someone new feels natural from the moment you arrive.

Games before the music

After the activity, grab a drink, keep chatting, or challenge someone to UNO, Jenga or Beer Pong.

Speaker Box

An easy, high-energy dance session. No experience needed. Simple moves, and plenty of laughs.

Reggaeton & Afrobeats

The music turns up. Stay on the floor, keep chatting, or meet someone new. No pressure.

Solo-friendly

Most people arrive on their own. Hosts introduce people. Friends are welcome too.

Special edition

One night only. Worth showing up.

We built the space we couldn't find.

A place where you can show up alone, say hi first, and meet new people naturally. This Saturday, Balancers x Speaker Box Street Party is back for a Reggaeton and Afrobeats edition.

We'll start the evening the Balancers way, with a conversation activity that makes meeting people feel natural. Then Speaker Box takes the floor: easy moves, no experience needed, no complicated routines. Once the room is warmed up, Reggaeton and Afrobeats keep the dance floor going.

How the edition flows

  1. 7:30 PM – Conversation Spark

A short activity gets everyone talking, without awkward introductions. When it finishes, the room relaxes: a drink, a conversation, or a game of UNO, Jenga or Beer Pong.

  2. 9:15 PM – Let's get moving

Speaker Box Street Party takes over with a fun dance session. Easy-to-follow moves, whether you love dancing or have two left feet.

  3. 10:00 PM – Reggaeton & Afrobeats

The music turns up. Favourites, infectious rhythm, and room to stay on the dance floor.

Entry is not guaranteed after 10:00 PM.

  4. 11:30 PM – After Party

Still going? We'll head somewhere nearby.

Please bring ID if you plan to join the after party.
