As part of our partnership with Refugee Community Kitchen, we're inviting you to join us for a special evening helping distribute summer care kits to people experiencing homelessness in London.

You'll spend a couple of hours alongside the Balancers community making a practical difference while supporting the Refugee Community Kitchen team.

No previous volunteering experience is needed. Just come as you are and we'll guide you through everything on the day.

What to expect

Meet the group

Meet Balancers hosts and volunteers at the station before we begin.

Help distribute summer kits

We'll support Refugee Community Kitchen by helping distribute essential summer kits to people who need them.

Come alone, comfortably

You don't need to know anyone. We'll meet as a group and move together.

Simple, practical support

No special experience is needed. Just bring yourself, be respectful, and follow the guidance on the day.

How the evening flows

Your evening, step by step

  1. 6:00 PM – Meet at the station

    Meet the Balancers group in front of the station. Please arrive on time so we can start together.

    Look for the Balancers group and hosts at the meeting point.

  2. 6:15 PM – Briefing

    We'll explain the plan, how the distribution works, and anything you need to know before we begin.

  3. 6:30 PM – Summer kit distribution

    We'll help distribute kits and support the team on the ground.

  4. 8:15 PM – Wrap up

    We'll regroup, check in, and finish together.

  5. 8:30 PM – Finish

    The volunteering session ends.
