Refugee Community Kitchen supports people experiencing homelessness. This evening, Balancers joins their Goodge Street service to provide essential clothing.

We believe community is about more than meeting new people. It's also about showing up for those who need support.
As part of our partnership with Refugee Community Kitchen, we're inviting you to join us at their Goodge Street service — this time to provide essential clothing to people who need it.
We'll meet as a group, pick up a few clothing items together, then walk over to help RCK distribute them while their team serves food.
No previous volunteering experience is needed. Just come as you are and we'll guide you through everything on the day.

What this involves
What to expect
Buy essential clothing together
We'll cross to Primark, split into small groups, and find a few essential items to take to the service.
Help distribute at Goodge Street
A short walk later, we'll join Refugee Community Kitchen and help distribute the clothing while their team serves food.
Come alone, comfortably
You don't need to know anyone. We'll meet as a group and move together.
Simple, practical support
No special experience is needed. Just bring yourself, be respectful, and follow the guidance on the day.
How the evening flows
Your evening, step by step
6:00 PM – Meet at Dominion Theatre
Meet the Balancers group in front of the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road. Please arrive on time so we can start together.
Look for the Balancers group and hosts at the meeting point.
Briefing
We'll explain the plan, how buying and distributing the clothing works, and anything you need to know before we begin.
Primark – essential clothing
We'll cross the road to Primark, split into small groups, and pick up a few essential items together.
Goodge Street – distribute with RCK
We'll walk about five minutes to Goodge Street, join the Refugee Community Kitchen service, and help distribute the clothing.
8:00 PM – Finish
The volunteering session ends.

Good to know
